The rising star maintains impressive social media presence
The young golfer will have multiple prominent cheerleaders when she begins her first LPGA appearance this Thursday.
This teenage golfer, who is the granddaughter of Donald Trump, was granted a sponsor's invitation to participate at the Annika competition in the Sunshine State.
Her grandfather, an avid golfer, possesses numerous international courses and regularly competes against Kai.
"He's pretty good. I can't reveal details but we play competitive games," she mentioned.
Kai explained that her grandfather, who won't be present, counseled her: "Just avoid anxiety."
"He practically advised me to play and have fun," she added.
"From my perspective, he's just a normal grandpa. He's not attending this weekend. He's busy with world affairs, so he's somewhat preoccupied."
While still amateur, the golfer has competed in a mere three competitions in 2024 and holds ranking 461 in the American Junior Golf Association rankings.
Yet she can receive tips from 15-time major champion, in a relationship with her mother.
"He represents the top athlete in the world," Kai expressed.
"Additionally, he's a more impressive individual. He told me to play, have fun, and go with whatever happens."
Kai will face some of most prominent players in women's golf at this tournament, featuring world number two Nelly Korda, British golfer Hull, Lexi Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.
The LPGA stated that involving Kai brings golf to different demographics, particularly reaching youth audiences.
The social media influencer has millions of followers and just introduced a personal fashion and living label.
The competition starts at 5:30 PM GMT.
